The prospect of earning thousands of dollars a day could seem too good to be true and the Wealthy Affiliate scheme found at Wealthy Affiliate could appear to be too good to be true for some. But is it to be believed? Here is some reaction from people across the Internet who have been there, done that, paid the $30 a month membership and have lived to tell the tale.

One user responded to somebody who was asking a question about a wealthy affiliate scam and said: Wealthy Affiliate is certainly not a scam. "The fact that you pay for something doesn't define it as a scam. You pay for a college education. Is that a scam? Wealthy Affiliate is, in my view, one of the premier educational sites on the Internet providing educational material and software for internet marketers."

Another user was quick to agree, but disagreed that it was light work and would get you raking in millions of dollars without lifting a finger, saying: "This is not a "get rich quick" type of thing. But if you actually spend some time trying hard, then I'm sure you could succeed."

However, not all people share the enthusiasm of the first two people that we mentioned: "Do you have to pay? If yes, then it most likely is. Learned that the hard way but learned it very quickly and never did it again."

Even though the Wealthy Affiliate website which is found at Wealthy Affiliate can be said to be biased to some extent, there have been many users on there who have testified to the services that the website offers.

One photographed and named user said this on the official website: "I have been a member for nearly 2 years and in that time I have been able to build a thriving online business."

Looking on the web and doing research on search engines can make you extremely confused as there are a mixture of both positive and negative reactions to the scheme. Nevertheless daunting it may seem, simply biting the bullet and trying out a month's membership could help you see for yourself whether it is for you or not. One user had even suggested looking around for other websites which offer similar opportunities for Internet marketers because they could be more money-making for users.

However, if you are hesitant to make an investment (and in this recession, many people are), bearing in mind going on independent forums and asking more questions about whether Wealthy Affiliate is a scam can help you to get an opinion that isn't trying to sell or persuade you. You are more than likely to find people who have impartial advice to give you. Should you even decide to go ahead and become a member of the scheme, you may even be able to find out some handy tips on how to make the most of it.

The Jury is out and it can be ultimately up to you to decide whether or not Wealthy Affiliates is a scam. Doing your research could ensure that you get a proper answer before resorting to jumping to conclusions.
